24 Hours for Elouise

He’s Riding the G.A.P. to help close the GAP!

"24 Hours for Elouise" is a grassroots project to raise money for the FOXG1 Research Foundation. Ellie's grandfather, age 70, will attempt a 24-hour bike ride along the Great Allegheny Passage, beginning in Pittsburgh on July 29–30.

The goal: a personal best of over 165 miles.

Why 24 hours? To honor the dedication, patience, and perseverance of children with FOXG1 syndrome, and the parents, caregivers, and supporters who stand with them. A pledge of $1, $5, $10, or $50 per mile he rides goes directly toward bringing the FOXG1 gene therapy to FOXG1 children worldwide. The work also charts a path for treating many other rare genetic disorders.
