Gai and Brandon Joined FOXG1 Families at Morgan's Wonderland

On June 27th, FOXG1 families gathered at Morgan's Wonderland in San Antonio for a FOXG1 Family Getaway Weekend. Joining them were Gai, our Chief Drug Development Officer, and Brandon, our Chief Medical Officer — the people leading the development of FRF-001. They didn't come for a meeting. They came to meet the kids and their families.

It was truly special to have Gai and Brandon there. It helps put them as people instead of just doctors trying to find a cure for FOXG1. They got to meet Stella and ask questions and I think it made me see that they care and want to help our sweet girl and other families as well.

It meant a lot for Gai and Brandon to join us. It shows they care a lot about our fox kiddos. It shows they want to get to know them and the parents as well. It was very nice to talk to them and get to know them as well. They are such humble and caring individuals. We appreciate them taking time out of their own busy lives to come.
— Clarissa’s parents, Doris and Sergio

Morgan's Wonderland is a fully inclusive theme park in where every ride and every attraction is accessible — which makes it one of the few places FOXG1 families can go where everything just works for their kids, no modifications needed.

Here's what families had to say:

"We had such a wonderful time getting to meet new friends and getting to reconnect with familiar faces. It's always nice to meet with people who understand your every day life and know what you are going through."
— Clarrisa’s Mom

"Our hearts are so full after this weekend. Spending time with other FOXG1 families, watching our kids have fun, and feeling so understood was truly priceless. Thank you for creating such a special weekend — we're already looking forward to the next one!"
— Diego’s Mom

"It was so much fun to meet other foxes and be together for a great weekend."
— Stella’s Mom

"We had so much fun! It was so nice seeing everyone!"
— Jacklyn’s Mom

"We had a wonderful time meeting new families and making new friends."
— Gwen’s Mom

Thank you to everyone who came out and to Gai and Brandon for making the trip.
